This checkbox is used to indicate that this roster field--the one with the corresponding roster Field Name--should be displayed on screen when the Survey question is displayed. In some cases information may be collected for a roster but not necessarily displayed for a particular question during Survey execution.

For example, a particular survey question might be verifying or collecting information about household members' ages and or dates of birth. Therefore, information about their race or ethnicity does not need to be displayed. In another example, some roster fields may not be displayed during Survey execution simply to conserve space on the interviewer's screen.
